"Jack Harlan"

Jack Harlan the fire department webmaster was  presented with a plaque on April 16, 2001 at the St. Albans City Council  Meeting.  Jack has designed and maintained the fire department website for four years free of charge.  Chief Parsons wanted to show his gratitude for all his  hard work.

"Mike Jarrett", Fire Department  Chaplain

Mike was presented with a glass trophy for his dedication and service to the department and the community.  Mike has been  instrumental in initiating the St. Albans Fire Department Emergency Disaster Relief Fund.  Mike has also formed numerous chapters of the Fellowship of Christian Firefighters in the county and state.

Lieutenant John Philpott

Lt. Philpott was recognized for his service as the department Training Officer and Safety Officer.  Lt. Philpotts work was instrumental in achieving the new ISO Rating of 3.

Q.D. Wood

Mrs. Wood was presented a plaque in appreciation of  her work on the St. Albans Fire Department Fire Committee.

Helen Warren

Mrs. Warren was presented a plaque in appreciation of her work on the Fire Committee which is consist of four City Council Members.

Patty Chandler

Mrs. Chandler was presented with a plaque by Chief Parsons to show his gratitude for her efforts and work on the Fire Committee.

Fire Committee

Fire Committee poses with Chief Parsons at St. Albans City Council Meeting held on April 16, 2001.  Absent is Sandra Ashley who is Chair of the Committee.

Mayor Gessel

Mayor Gessel is presented with a fire department helmet with his unit number and name applied on it.  Chief Parsons wanted to  express his appreciation for all the support the Mayors office has provided  during his administration.  During Mayor Gessel's administration the department has purchased in excess of $650,000.00 in equipment including a new ladder and rescue truck.

Chief Parsons appointed Mayor Gessel whose term  expires July 1, 2001 has a honorary firefighter.
