The Fire Safety House continues to be an vital learning tool in teaching young children about fire safety.
Children atre given instructions in the use of 911, Stop Drop and Roll, Home Evacuation Planning, Smoke Detector Recognition, MeetingPlace, Kitchen Safety, Fireplace Safety to name a few. It is very rewarding to realize that something being taught these young children may very well save their lives in the event that a fire occurs. The firefighters really enjoy giving young people safety instructions. We receive numerous request from a variety of sources in the surrounding area for the Fire Safety House. Although we are not able to fulfill all those requests, We try to reach as many as possible with the resources we have.
